This New Year’s Eve we ran a packed-out 7-course tasting menu of British dishes and flavours.

The evening went really well with many customers complementing Oli on his dishes and one adding on Twitter that it was a ‘culinary delight’!

Our amuse bouche – Prawn cocktail with slow roasted tomatoes, prawn mayonnaise & pork crackling. Served with spiced apple rum cocktail!

Course 2 – A twist on the classic BLT. Tomato consommé, onion cream, fried shallots, lardons, lettuce soup & Parmesan soldiers.

Course 3 – Smoked haddock with a pea velouté, black pudding and a soft boiled egg.

Course 5 – Beef Wellington with roast potatoes, greens, parsnip purée and jus.

Course 6 – A twist on pineapple on a stick! Pineapple, goats cheese mousse, pineapple jelly and syrup.
